Complete replacement top cover & shifter assembly for 1996 & later Chevrolet & GMC trucks with the New Venture NV4500 5 speed transmissions with bolt-on 4 bolt shift towers. 
This top cover kit is complete & ready to install on the transmission.


The factory transmission top cover on NV4500 transmissions was designed to not be disassembled to have the forks replaced.
 There are no factory provisions made for removing the 1-2 & 3-4 forks and rails. 
Doesn't mean you can't do it, but if you don't want the hassle then get this loaded ready to bolt on shift top cover.
Replacement part for casting numbers of 16161, 18860 and 23137. This casting number can be found on the shifter top itself.
