* Some sellers indicate that the Weatherpack 12 ga terminals can also be used for 10 ga. wire.  Although it might be possible to crimp a 10 ga wire on this 12 ga terminal, its not recommended and there are other Aptiv-delphi series such as the Metric-pack 280 series (30 amp rating) that are designed to take a 10 ga wire.

THERE ARE NO BENEFITS IN USING STRIP OR TERMINALS ON REELS:

 The only benefit is to the seller because they are cheaper.  These terminals have to be cut or removed from the strip or reels for use. They have sharp edges which can cut you. I do not use them in my kits.
