These hanks came off an old Egyptian cotton drifter sail that was on a 1939 Monk design sloop I owned in the 1970s and 80s. They have some surface corrosion but all work, the springs are good. They are structurally sound but a few show some slight wear where they attached to the headstay. Being on a lightweight light wind sail, they were never subjected to serious strain. See pictures for details.
These are size #2-- rated for max 5/16 headstay. They were used with a 1/4 inch stay. Selling as a lot.
