Selling the above listed component off a 1988 Johnson 28 HP 2 stroke Outboard. Model #J28ESLCCR.  I am parting this motor out due to bad lower unit.  I had this motor running for 5 seconds just  long enough to see if it would run.  Otherwise all other inspections are visual or bench test.

Close visual inspection shows no reason to believe item is not fully functional.  I did a compression test on this motor.  Both cylinders ran approx 130-135 PSI.  When I ran it for the 5 seconds it seemed to run smooth. Cranks over great.  Feels good.

This particular motor had electric start.  I am not sure that matters, but just throwing that out there.
