Any motorist that uses their phone as a sat-nav, for music, or as a speedo will know the frustration of having nowhere to put it… Trying to balance it on the dash in front of you, or laying on your seats meaning you have to take your eyes off the road to view it. Existing phone holders aren’t very good: suction cups are big and obstruct your vision, and the cradle type drop your phone at the first sight of a bump in the road.
This is my solution. It can be stuck onto any flat area of the dashboard that measures 120mm x 68mm or over. Clearly visible to driver and passenger. The regular groove and clip can hold phones up to 13mm thick however, if this is not big enough, the extended groove and clip can hold phones up to 16mm thick. It is shipped as a kit that screws together (screws provided) but requires no modifications to the vehicle;
It's secured in place with 3M VHB tape (included) so no drilling required. The back clip is sprung to accommodate different phone widths up to 90mm. It’s not limited on length. To use, insert the top of the phone and lift the sprung clip then drop the bottom edge of the phone into the slot.
This is a 3D printed product, but it’s made from a heat resistant material, is tough and will tolerate life in your vehicle just fine. Due to the manufacturing process there are fine ridges on the surface of the parts: this is totally normal. They can be rubbed down with glass paper and painted like any other plastic should you wish, but I only offer them ‘as manufactured’.
