The Proport shifters already offer fantastic value for money, any reduction in price for a product this good would be a compromise to both performance and quality.

These cheap Chinese copies of our products on Ebay are almost certainly constructed (copied) with maximum profit in mind and will not offer the same level of performance, reliability or quality that the Prosport shifters deliver. From inspecting/testing numerous cheap Chinese copies from Ebay (along with customer reports) we have already witnessed multiple cable connection breakages along with many incorrect thread tolerances. Some of these Chinese copies that have been tested also offered no real reduction in gear shift throw due to the machining tolerances being completely incorrect.

We include full instructions with the VW Stealth Quick Shift, so installation is very easy. All threads should be secured with liquid thread lock during installation. Please make sure that the original VW gear shifter arm on your car is the same type as shown in the last image.
