This is a new in box renamed starter for Mercruiser inboard 5.0,5.7 and possibly other models. It has SAE J1171 MARINE On the starter and 50 863007A1 on the box. Please check compatibility before buying. I bought this when broke down on the lake only to find out the starter was not the problem. I did put it on but immediately took it back off planning to return it but never did. My loss is your gain. Bench tested and works as it should.
