1. Items will be shipped to a commercial address or local freight terminal for pick up. Commercial address must be capable of unloading a freight truck. Residential delivery or lift gate service is EXTRA. Please contact us for more details
2. YOU MUST INSPECT BEFORE YOU SIGN!!! Note on the freight bill any obvious signs of damage at the time of delivery. It must be brought to the attention of the driver and noted on the signed delivery paperwork. This will be required for claims so it is very important!
3. If you suspect damage, OPEN IMMEDIATELY and inspect the item.
4. After paperwork has been noted with damage details, save all parts and packaging materials for inspection should the claims representatives need them.
DELIVERY TICKETS ARE LEGALLY BINDING. IF YOU SIGN "RECEIVED IN GOOD CONDITION" when there is an obvious damage FREIGHT COMPANY WILL DENY THE CLAIM RIGHT AWAY IF DELIVERY PAPERWORK IS NOT PROPERLY NOTED. Union Used Auto parts will not be responsible for any damages caused during shipment unless the above terms are met.
