Mercruiser/Quicksilver SBC V8 (5.0L, 5.7L, 6.2L) Dipstick & Tube Kit. Includes Dipstick Tube 15296A2, Dipstick 861942T7, etc.

When converting from an older 5.0L or 5.7L application that used the cast steel oil pan with a 2-piece rear main seal (pre-1987) and going up to the newer style 5.0L, 5.7L or 6.2L engine (1987-newer), you will need a new dipstick and tube kit in order to make the conversion. This ad is for that kit and includes everything necessary to install the dipstick tube into the oil pan.
