Selling the above listed component off a 1983 Evinrude 35 HP 2 stroke Outboard. Model #E35ELCTS.  I am parting this motor out due to bad stator assembly and I also did not get the controls.  Not worth investing the money to get it running.  I cranked the motor over for compression test and to check various components.  Could not get it to fire with the stator the way it was.   All other inspections are visual or bench test.   This particular motor had a midsection that measured 22 inches long.

Close visual inspection shows no reason to believe item is not fully functional.   I drained the lower unit lube from this unit.  Only oil came out, no water.  I am not able to pressure test this unit.  It shifts fine shows Forward, Neutral, and Reverse
