Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2024:  'Easy install with 8 stainless steel lag bolts (3/8"x3.5") and flat washers. Yes, difficult to raise the ladder after use. Recommend tying a small rope around the top step which you can snare with a boat hook. No barnacles at least!
