Akrapovic Racing Line full exhaust systems are designed for riders who demand maximum performance from their motorcycle. The exhaust is significantly lighter when compared to the stock exhaust system and feature exceptional production quality, hi-tech materials and of course, increased engine performance combined with pure racing sound output. Akrapovic exhaust systems were developed to complement the racing character of the S1000RR. The system is made entirely of Akrapovic's high grade stainless steel for the header tubes and link pipes that are capped with a titanium-sleeved muffler.

Measurements of the Akrapovic full system on the BMW S1000RR (without muffler insert):

Power and Torque: The power increase with the Akrapovic system is substantial, and can be seen from 7,000 rpm right to the top of the range. At 13,270 rpm, Akrapovic measured 191.3 HP, with a max. power increase of 11.15 HP at 8,450 rpm. The system's effect on the torque and power curve is huge and strongest at midrange rpm. Of course, these power numbers can be increased even more with a proper ECU remapping as performed by a competent dyno tuner.
