For sale is this vintage TQ 3/4 Midget racing go cart.

As for its history, I do not know much.  It came from a warehouse in Joliet IL, where it had been boarded up inside the warehouse along with some older motorcycles, from approx. 1990 until 2017.  My guess is that it was raced in Chicago area or maybe other Midwest states in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.   I acquired it in 2017 and it has sat as is since then.

Current Condition: No engine, but does appear to have many of the other main parts. Includes: Frame, Wheels/tires/brakes, transmission, seat, steering wheel, and metal body panels as shown.  Also includes brake/gas pedals, and a fuel injector/tickler (just to left of engine/driver, outside the body work).  It rolls, but the wheel bearings and brakes will certainly need service, and the tires will need to be replaced.  The transmission does shift in/out of gear.

Manufacturing info:  From what I can tell, this was built in the 1950s, which makes this vintage sweetheart approx. 70 +/- years old !!!.  Several magazines from that era have article on what looks like this exact model.  Included with the go cart are TWO MAGAZINE, shown in pics, that seem to cover this model.   I asked some people online who know about this era of racing go carts, and it was noted that it likely has a Crosley transmission and rear end, and steering, and Cushman rims. As for engine (it does NOT have one), it was likely a Cushman engine or a motorcycle 4 cyl engine in there at one point.

Vehicle is for local pickup near Gurnee, IL USA.  I can hold it for you after paid for in full, and help out with whatever shipping option you arrange.  If you are local, I might be able to deliver it for you for small extra fee.
