Big Brake setup for 1965 through 1970 vintage Mustang, Fairlane, Falcon, etc.

These were a spare setup for a 65 Mustang racer. Similar setup was used in Bud Moore’s famous 69/70 Trans Am Mustangs & is widely used in Vintage Racing Venues today.

Rotors are 12”diameter x 1 1/4” thick with separate alloy hats. These are the largest that can be used with 15” wheels.

Calipers are race prepared “Lincoln” calipers which have received a special coating designed not only to keep them looking good through all the generated brake dust & heat cycles, but also to help dissipate some of that heat. New pistons (8) were used during preparation.

Outer piston dust seals are not used in racing, as they would melt away in a couple of minutes, however outer seals ARE included & I will install if buyer wants for street use. The mounting ears have been machined (slightly thinner) to use the billet mounting brackets which are the “standard” in the high performance & racing circles. The correct caliper brackets can be purchased from Shaun @ Street or Track making the whole thing close to a bolt together system. Also included are caliper mounting bolts drilled for safety wire & cadmium plated.

These calipers also have Russell “one way valve” speed bleeders installed.

A pair of drum brake hubs with a built in centering ring for the brake hats is also included in package. These have been bead-blasted & painted with Cerakote high heat paint in cast iron color. Wheel studs are not included, so you can choose the length & style you prefer.

You will have a nice all USA made setup at a very affordable price. Similar setups (with Chinese calipers-!!) sell for $2000.00+. The billet steel mounting brackets will run you in the high $400’s, so you’ll save a bunch!

Please DON’T use or buy Chinese made components-especially when it comes to brake or suspension parts - it could be your last mistake!!

In another listing I have big bearing real Ford (USA made) uprights that would work great with this setup.

As always pickup is preferred, but will gladly ship (within the continental USA) if buyer prefers.

NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING!

Thank you!
