This is the rear medallion on the Johnson antique outboard motor rear hood. Fits the deluxe models DT. DT-37-38 plus DT39 and DT-10 1940.  2 1/4" diameter. Paint on metal plate.  Your can totally restore it or just touch up the chips and small areas of missing paint.  The mount stem isn't broken off the pate as so often happens.  Look at the photos and email with questions.  Thanks for looking.
