A8/58 2004-11 - VW Phaeton Lowering Link Install Instructions

Note: Links come preset with left and right sides set to the same length. We recommend that you start like this and adjust only after all 4 links are installed and the vehicle has been raised and lowered with the ride height button a few times to normalize the suspension. Tip: On the Bentley, shortening the front link lowers the front end and lengthening the link raises the front end. In the rear, it is the exact same.

Note: The ball joint ends are equipped with a snap ring inside to hold the end firmly on the ball. Make sure these snap rings are in place prior to installing on car. Once the ball joint end is pushed onto the ball it should snap. It is a good idea to give a good tug to make sure the end is securely snapped in place. If the end easily comes off, check to make sure the wire snap ring is still installed and not missing or damaged.

Note: The rubber seals that come in the kit are designed to keep dirt from getting inside the ball joint end. Please make sure to install these seals when installing links. The large end faces the ball joint.
