 This listing is for ONE (1) *EXTREMELY RARE* USED original equipment 15" deluxe finned wheel cover (stock #01) originally offered on the 1956-1957 Continental Mark II models equipped with 15" STANDARD STEEL wheels. If you're looking at this cap, you already know just how hard they are to find!!! Between 1956 and 1957, only 3,005 Mark II models were made, and they were the most expensive American cars made during those model years. 

 This cap is in relatively good shape for its age, but it's definitely not perfect. The backing plate has lost about 99% of its original black paint as seen in photos (common with this style cap). All of the individually bolted fins are in place, but there are a few pits in the plating on each one. There are two fins that appear to be slightly widened at the bases. I would assume this to be from installation at some point (pounding it onto the wheel in the wrong spot perhaps). I have provided close-up photos of areas of most concern. The steel clips on the back side are all in place and solid so it will snap on tightly as intended. 

 While the cap does show signs of age and road use/exposure to the elements, this is overall a fairly respectable cap for its age. If you're missing one, it will cover your wheel until you find a nicer one and it shouldn't look out of place on a DAILY DRIVER quality vehicle. It will require total restoration if you intend to use it on anything nicer.   This is a genuine FoMoCo cap, not a copy. Purchase price is for ONE used 15" finned hubcap as pictured.
