  • Calibrated for a 1x4 setup
  • Dual 30cc accelerator pumps
  • All new 5 Hole Emulsion calibrations optimized for today's larger engines and new fuels
  • QFT  fuel bowls provide more fuel capacity vs. traditional v-bowls to eliminate fuel starvation and provides consistent air/fuel ratios
  • Internal baffling to help control fuel slosh and minimize float level fluctuations in hard launching or cornering situations
  • Integrated idle bypass bleeds allows for adjustment of idle while maintaining correct throttle plate to transfer slot relationship
  • New modified  boosters on 1040 CFM maintains strong fuel signal on large CFM carbs
  •  Propriety booster inserts for superior atomization and crisp throttle response

  • Fully adjustable external linkage can be adjusted for 1:1 progressive, or soft progressive throttle activation. No linkage under the carburetor
  • Knurled primary and secondary curb idle screws allow for easy idle adjustment without the use of tools
  • Billet aluminum metering blocks for improved durability, improved gasket sealing, good looks and corrosion protection
  • Clear sight windows on both sides of bowls for easy and safe fuel level adjustments
  • Fully machined from venturi throat to throttle bore for predictable & repeatable performance
  • Contoured hex head squirter screws for streamlined airflow

ALL NEW FUEL BOWL DESIGN

  • Completely redesigned from the ground up for racing
  • More fuel capacity vs. a traditional v-bowl eliminates fuel starvation and provides consistent air/fuel ratios
  • Internal baffling to help control fuel slosh and minimize float level fluctuations in hard launching or cornering situations
  • Fuel trough designed into floor of bowl to route fuel flow directly to the jets and assist in keeping jets covered by fuel
  • Clear sight windows on both sides of bowls for easy and safe fuel level adjustments
  • Contoured entry provides smooth fuel flow directly to Dual needle & seats
  • Material added in key areas  for added strength in the demanding race environment

 BILLET ALUMINUM METERING BLOCKS

  • Improved durability, improved VM55 Racing gasket sealing, anodized for good looks and corrosion protection
  • Fully adjustable 5 hole emulsion bleeds, power valve channel restrictors & idle feed restrictors. Power valve channel restrictors now machined lower in metering block for improved fuel delivery to power valve circuit
  • Accelerator pump channel now internally drilled eliminating need for external plug
  • Excess material removed for improved fuel capacity
  • New QFT snap in place bowl vent whistle makes removal and replacement easier

CCS Performance Carburetor (CCS) ships carburetors only after they have been thoroughly run-tested and adjusted on a typical engine. Engine testing all carburetors prior to shipment ensures that when a new CCS carburetor is bolted on an engine, it will start, idle and perform up to the customer’s expectations.

However, sometimes a little more fine-tuning is necessary because the customer has a fairly radical street setup with a big cam with lower than typical intake vacuum, or the carburetor is not properly sized for the engine it is being used on.

There are many misconceptions about how to go about these adjustments, and of course there is no shortage of free advice. Please read the proven step-by-step carb tuning tips to get the most out of your carburetor’s performance.

Following these step-by-step tuning tips are essential to make sure that your engine runs at peak performance. Along with these tuning tips, a check of your ignition system, as well as, the mechanical and vacuum advance curves in your distributor is suggested to eliminate any potential timing and ignition problems. Also remember fuel pressure is always a mine consideration for all applications.

Before starting your engine with your new carburetor, tighten all bolts and screws. There can be substantial gasket shrinkage after the carburetor has been fired up, so this is very essential! Set all float levels at 25% up from the bottom of the glass. Main jetting varies significantly from application to application, so only make light passes up until you verify the jetting is in the parameters of the engine requirement. Most gasoline carburetors require a total minimum of 7.25 pressure of fuel under load at wide open throttle to perform appropriately. Be sure the boosters DO NOT drip fuel at an idle. Lower float level or the fuel pressure is this occurs or adjusts the throttle plates setting.
