Used parts from used engines.
Please note; this filter housing has a repair brazed in its lid, as well as a dent in the lid. The lid and housing were in use for several seasons after said repairs. Please read the condition description and view, click and enlarge photos for additional detail.
Donor was a Chrysler ACE marine engine, 218 ci, flathead six, engine block was dated 1950.
On the donor application, the housing was bolted to the output end housing, and plumbed via soft lines to the engine block ports.
Existing oil filter cartridge removed at disassembly. Was an AC part number PF-319, and fit well in the housing.
Some residual non-detergent oil schmutz still remains in the filter housing; you will likely want to clean the last bit out before putting the housing back in service.
