Additional Info	This lower unit does have a 2:1 gear ratio and was removed from a freshwater engine. This unit shifts and spins smoothly with no binding and the prop shaft is straight The driveshaft splines are showing slight wear The gears and clutch are in good condition The oil was free and clean of water and heavy metal The paint has been stripped and primed and has new paint. This unit is fully resealed, pressure checked, and a new impeller installed. This does not come with the propeller, or propeller hardware. This will come exactly as pictured - please refer to the photos to verify what is included in this listing and the condition these parts are in prior to ordering The unit has been drained of oil and this will need to be added prior to installation.  We do not take returns on incorrectly ordered items. Fits:	1976-2005 - 135 150 HP - 2:1 Gear Ratio If you have a V6 lower unit with a preload pin, it could only be used only from 1976-1988.  If you have a lower unit that does not have a preload pin, it can be used from 1976-2005. Please note that this lower unit has a 2:1 gear ratio. These can be used on a 175 or 200 HP motors as well, but the propeller will need to be switched out to keep you within the reccomended RPM. We have provided this cross-reference with the resources we have available in regards to fitment. This most likely will not fit every model for the years and horsepowers we have listed. We urge you to make sure this is the exact item you need by matching the part number to what is required for your motor.
