This lower unit was pulled out of a 2003 Yamaha F2 25 that had lost compression cylinder, but was still running before tear down.

This is a standard rotation 25” shaft length.

This unit shifts in and out gear, nice and smooth, but when gear lube was inspected, gearlube was found to have milky gear oil. Gear was free of any excessive metal shavings, but lower unit will need a reseal on one of the shafts.

This was the only reason this unit was listed for parts or refurbish. That decision will be up to buyer.
