Overview

Stratus 3 is the simple-to-use, portable wireless receiver that provides subscription-free weather, GPS information, backup attitude and ADS-B traffic β€” integrated with ForeFlight Mobile for your iPad, and now including GDL 90 protocol to work with other flight apps.

Free in-flight Weather

Receive NEXRAD radar, METARs, TAFs, TFRs, AIRMETs, SIGMETs, NOTAMs and more β€” with no subscription fees.

Save battery life with Stratus Replay, which sends weather information to ForeFlight even when you turn off the iPad screen (ForeFlight exclusive feature).

Automatic flight data recorder

Stratus 3 offers a complete flight data recorder system, when enabled in ForeFlight. Stratus 3 automatically records your flight β€” complete with GPS position, altitude speed, and attitude.

Improve training with ForeFlight flight logs, which can be viewed online in Google Earth or the CloudAhoy app. Ideal for proficiency flights or CFIs.

Dual band ADS-B traffic

Stratus 3 includes a dual band (978 MHz and 1090 MHz) receiver so it can display traffic information. See relative altitude, climb/descent rate and projected track. ADS-B traffic is limited unless your aircraft is equipped with ADS-B Out

Note: AHRS data provided by Stratus should be used for supplemental purposes only. Stratus is not certified for IFR operations.

WAAS GPS unlocks track up and terrain

With the built-in WAAS GPS receiver, Stratus allows you to view moving maps, track up displays and high-resolution terrain maps in ForeFlight Mobile. The smart GPS locks on fast and typically provides 1 meter accuracy.

8-hour battery

Even with all these features, Stratus remains totally wireless. With its 8-hour battery life, you can fly all day without bringing along a charging cable. Just turn on Stratus and go flying.

Designed, tested and built in the USA

Stratus is built by pilots like you. It’s engineered, tested and manufactured in the United States, ensuring you receive the best-made, most reliable ADS-B receiver on the market.

Note: ADS-B coverage varies by location and altitude; learn more about ADS-B and view the coverage map. Coverage is not available outside the United States.
