Vintage Snowmobile? Metal Gas Fuel Tank

Pre-owned, used I believe this is a snowmobile or ATV gas tank very good condition. One of the pictures is looking down the gas filler neck. Possibly from when they used to put them on the back end of the Snow machines.

Very clean inside no rust inside. I sanded some rust off the bottom and painted it tested for leaks. There were none. Has a vent tube coming off filler neck a has supply fitting in the bottom side for quarter inch fuel line, 6 mounting tabs at one time I assume had rubber grommet mounts one is still intact. Gas gauge filler, cap cork slides up and down chaffs gauge and lenses missing.

15-3/4” Wide by 12-1/2 inches wide by 12” high, includes mounting tabs and filler neck.
