Hi, up for auction is a  DITTEL FSG-40SPL GROUND / BASE STATION VHF COM RADIO   in excellent working condition. 

This radio is set up as a base station and has an internal battery so that it is mobile once charged. Therefore it can also be used for ballon flying or anywhere else you need a mobile radio. ATTENTION PLEASE !!! The case is made of plastic or fiberglass and a corner piece of it has snapped off ( see 4th and 5th pictures ). This does not affect the function of the radio in any way so you can either leave it as is, or glue it back on with a good strong glue. The battery is old so it should be changed to hold a better charge ( its a standard 12 volt battery ). I dont have a charger for it but you can use any regular 12 volt battery charger.
