This spacer slows down heat transfer from engine to the intake manifold which helps to keep engine performance at its maximum for longer.

The Ecu will retard ignition timing as the manifold air temperature rises. This directly impacts performance. The phenolic gasket will slow the effects of this.

Please note this is not a Nissan item but has been designed to fit the Nissan engine
