Used for one weekend and never again. When staying at a hotel that has free level 2 charging for Tesla you can now tap in with your Nissan Leaf, Chevy Bolt or any other j1772 charging car! Just plug this into your cars charging port and plug the Tesla cable into the other side of the adapter and you’re all set.

Do not use with a super charger. If you find a Tesla supercharger and attempt to charge into your j1772 it won’t work. At best it’ll slow charge. At worst it’ll throw an error that takes your onboard charger offline. It’s easy to tell if a charger is a supercharger or not. For one, there will be several grouped together with those stylish Tesla stations. The slow charger is just a cable and a small box about the size of a shoebox.
