For your consideration is this pair of vintage original pie crust drag slicks. They are size 8.20 x 15" and are mounted on, what appears to be vintage Mopar steel wheels with a 5 x 4 1/2" bolt pattern. The center hole measures 2 3/4" in diameter. The tires measure 29 3/4" tall, and the "tread" surface is 7 3/4" wide. They are both marked as having originated from Midtown Tire here in Springfield, and are re-caps, as was common in the day.
Although these are remarkably well preserved, they are obviously being sold as vintage appearance items. Not sure if they hold air, I have not tried, and not sure how much could be learned from that either way. they did come out of a barn at a rural estate auction so at least they have been stored inside.
Please study the photos and ask any questions you may have. Quoted shipping is for both tires and wheels total to the lower 48 states and includes insurance. Sorry for the shipping sticker shock, but they will have to ship in 2 boxes and are heavy. I do get to Atlanta, St. Louis and Chicago on a regular basis. Pick-up here in central Illinois is always an option, and storage is not a problem once they're paid for. Thanks.
