Application

This electric outboard motor is suitable for small ships with different materials within 16.4 feet in length, such as inflatable boats, iron boats, plastic boats, fiberglass boats, and wooden boats. It is widely used in fishery, aquaculture, outdoor exploration, etc.

Maintenance

• Complete machine maintenance(The following time and date intervals are in no order.)

1.1 Daily inspection: whether screws and nuts are loose.

1.2 Clean the dust on the surface of the whole machine every 8 hours.

1.3 Check the connection of high-voltage line every 100 hours.

2. Keep the product clean

2.1 Clean the dirt on the motor controller regularly. It is forbidden to spray with water, and clean it with a brush and high-pressure air.

2.2 Before starting each time, combustible materials around the controller must be cleaned to avoid fire.

2.3 Clean the sundries in the cooling system to avoid blocking the air duct. The cooling fan should be cleaned regularly to avoid overheating and mechanical damage.

Common Faults and Troubleshooting

1. If the starting handle is found to be powered off during operation, please check whether the positive and negative poles of the battery and the whole set of power cables are connected properly.

2. Always check whether the controller screws are loose.

3. The gearbox should be replaced with gear oil for three months.

Notes

1. Do not let the power of the external engine of the ship exceed the load of the ship, which will cause the ship to lose control. The rated power of the outboard engine is equal to or less than the rated power of the ship: if you do not know the rated power of the ship, please consult the agent or the manufacturer of the ship.

2. The electric outboard engine shall not be modified, otherwise, it will cause unsafe use of the motor controller.

3. Do not drive after drinking alcohol or taking medicine. About 50% of boating accidents are related to alcohol abuse.

4. A set of qualified life jackets must be provided for the ship and each passenger. It is a good idea to wear a life jacket when leaving the ship. As for children and people who can't swim, they should always wear life jackets. In case of any potential danger, all personnel shall wear life jackets.

5. Before starting this product, please check whether it operates normally.

6. Understand and comply with the maritime laws and regulations of the area you will drive.

7. Pay close attention to the weather and check the weather forecast before departure to avoid departure under severe weather conditions.

8. Tell someone where you want to go, submit the ship departure plan to the person in charge, and remember to cancel it when returning.

9. When leaving the ship, you should use normal conditions and good judgment to understand your own ability and clearly know how to deal with different sailing conditions you may encounter. Operate within your capabilities and under the conditions of vessel permission. Always operate at a safe speed and pay close attention to obstacles and other traffic conditions.

10. Keep an eye on swimmers during the operation.

11. Keep away from the swimming area.

12. When someone is swimming near you, turn off the motor speed indicator.

13.  Please wash the propeller with fresh water after sailing in the sea or turbid water

14. Run the engine at medium speed and supply fresh water to flush the cooling water channel.

15. Store the electric outboard engine in a dry and ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight.

16. When replacing the propeller and pin, please cut off the power to avoid injury.

17. Do not use this product in case of heavy rain to avoid electric leakage.

18. The red wire of the battery outlet is positive (+), and the black wire is negative (-).

19. Change the gear oil for the first time every 15 hours.

20. Sail at the lowest speed in shallow water. When using the diving navigation system, the tilt locking mechanism does not work. Otherwise, when encountering underwater obstacles, it will cause the engine to come out of the water and lose control.

21. Before installing and using the electric outboard engine, please read the entire manual carefully, which will help you understand the electric outboard engine and its operation.

22. Please allow the slight color difference caused by the shooting light and 1-3cm error due to manual measurement.
