You're looking at a Lewmar 40AST wavegrip aluminum self tailing winch. The self tailing jaws are in very good condition considering it was on a fresh water boat from day one until it was taken off the boat but the drum on this winch has a small crack in it. As such, This winch is listed "for parts only" The sister winch to this one is in fine working order and is listed separately.The internal parts have been cleaned and lubricated. New pawls and springs were installed prior to listing. Though a bit older, even this self tailer is a big improvement over non tailing winches at a price that wont break the bank.
