You're looking at a Lewmar 40AST wavegrip aluminum self tailing winch. The drum and self tailing jaws are in very good condition considering it was on a fresh water boat from day one until it was taken off the boat. The internal parts have been cleaned and lubricated. New pawls and springs were installed prior to listing. Though a bit older, even this self tailer is a big improvement over non tailing winches at a price that wont break the bank.
