This lower unit was removed from a 2006 Mercury 200 HP Optimax, 6 cylinder, 2 stroke, direct fuel injected, 20 inch outboard. Engine SN- 1B365057

Driveshaft- 13 spline

Propshaft- 15 spline

The gear lube was drained out to check for water or metal shavings. The gear lube looked good, but it will need new gear lube and drain plug gaskets before putting back into service. I would also recommend installing a new impeller. This unit was also pressure and vacuum tested and showed no leakage in either direction. This unit smoothly shifts into forward, neutral, and reverse as it should.
