The IPS32 uses solid state power devices, in order to enhance & supersede traditional fuses and relays, whilst reducing wiring and increasing control of power consuming items.Combining onboard intelligence with CAN messages enables automatic resetting of breakers & pre-defined failure modes.
User-defined trip limits across all 32 outputs, efficiently drive an extensive range of electrical loads via onboard math based strategies. These measure currents & voltages, whilst supporting high-speed pulse width modulation ( PWM ) allowing precise control of power throughout.
The IP65 anodized aluminum casing, has LED’s indicating the status of all 32 channels, communication ports, and trips.
As with other Cosworth products, the IPS 32 is configured using the ‘Toolset’ software, giving the user the ability to integrate any input &/or CAN channel to control each output. Features including Auto Start, light sequences, and limp home strategies are also included.
The IPS32 has the ability to run on 12v or 24v systems with overvoltage & load dump protection as standard & integrates a powerful built-in diagnostics logger making the IPS32 a true standalone intelligent power control system.
The IPS range of products also has onboard logging & can be coupled with the Cosworth RLU to log to a USB stick. This makes the IPS a very powerful product indeed. Make it the center of a CAN integrated system & the possibilities are virtually endless.
The features within the IPS & Toolset really do make this product stand out as one of the ultimate power controllers on the market.
