Wave WiFi MBR 500 wireless multi-source router & access point. 5 Ethernet 10/100 ports.
Runs off of 12V DC…either use the included 1-amp AC-to-DC power adapter, or simply hardwire it into your existing 12V DC panel with a 1.0 Amp fuse/breaker.
Used for only 1.5 months (only selling because I accidentally purchased two of the exact same item).
Includes TWO 2.4 GHz antennas. Optional 5 GHz antennas are available from the manufacturer. Uses SMA antenna ports.
Internal access point, 802.11n.
Quoted from the manufacturer:
“The MBR 500 has an internal access point and is a Multi-Source Failover Router. This means that it can manage multiple sources at a time as well as produce the wireless signal to distribute the data to wireless devices. Our MBR 500 will give you the ability to manage these sources from one easy to access browser based page.
From this page you can manage any additional Wave WiFi devices such as access points and receivers, as well as third party satellite, or cell devices.
These are also capable of supporting ‘Guest Networks’. This means that any devices connected to the Guest Network will not have access to the MBR 500 manage page. They will only be able to use the data provided by the MBR router and not be able to manipulate it.”
