1966 Cessna 172 SkyHawk Owner's Manual 172G D330-13 Printed 7/1/65. This sound, very original, factory owner's manual is in good, used condition. The cover is mostly clean and nice and shiny. However, the top edge of the front cover has a rash, likely from a little moisture and having been stuck to another book, and the worst of it has been covered with a small patch of a self-adhesive postage label for aesthetics and durability. The upper part of the rear cover, and the upper part of the entire book for that matter, also shows a tad of lumpiness from exposure to moisture. The cover remains very well attached by mostly shiny staples. Two holes are punched in the book, and they are spaced about 4 - 3/16". A former owner's name is written on the outside edge of the book. There is light patina throughout as you might expect of a manual of this vintage. That is it. The book is otherwise pristine inside with no writing or markings, no highlighting, no missing or torn or loose pages. The corners are still very sharp and the book still lays flat. See the photos. Aside from the moisture damage and rash and holes, this book is sound and complete and barely marked. and it's still in good shape especially considering it is over 59 years old. Always check for revisions, supplements, and updates with vintage manuals.
If your old '66 172 Skyhawk book looks like crap, buy this one.
The manual will be securely packaged and properly labeled. It will be placed in a plastic sleeve to help protect it from moisture(just a wee bit late for that!), and then placed in a rigid envelope stamped with "Do Not Bend" to help protect it from the USPS.
