ENGINE GEARBOX TRANSMISSION - 3 MONTH

This guarantee will be honoured by Auto Spares and Salvage Ltd. Our warranty covers parts only. We guarantee that the head is not cracked or warped, we guarantee that the engine is not smoking, we guarantee that the engine is not rattling. We fully expect that every engine we supply is fit for purpose and can go into a vehicle once new parts have been added (see below) . We do not cover labour costs associated with the fitment, removal or re-fitment of any engine or part, nor do we cover costs arising due to the fitting of an engine or part we have supplied. Our warranties are between ourselves (Autospares and salvage limited) and the named person on the invoice. Warranties are not transferable. We offer 90 days as minimum on all parts sold (unless agreed otherwise). All warranty periods start from date of purchase (date shown on invoice). If within this time, the part proves to be faulty, we will offer a replacement. If a replacement cannot be provided, we will refund.

Recorded mileages have not been verified, the accuracy of the odometer reading cannot be relied on and should be disregarded.

All engines and gearboxes must be fitted by established business garages. Engines and gearboxes fitted by private individuals will not be covered by our warranty. In the event of a claim, the garage you use must be able to provide engineers reports and receipts and have a registered business number and address. Engines & gearboxes must be fitted in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. We do not guarantee any ancillaries or bolt on parts on our engines such as, water pumps, oil pumps, timing belts or chains, gaskets, oil filters, diesel/fuel filters.

We do not guarantee any clutches that may be supplied or left on our engines. We recommend that all of these parts are to be fitted as new before fitting the second hand engine. In the event of a claim of a faulty engine or gearbox, you must provide receipts for your purchases of: Timing kits (belt or chain), water pumps, fuel filters, approved engine oil, oil filter, spark plugs, water thermostat, oil pump, failure to do so will void warranty.

We do not offer warranty on any external parts or labour, broken sensors or shipping costs, warranty covers engine block and cylinder head. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the correct details are given to our sales team when ordering a component.

All engines and gearboxes are tested prior to sale (unless sold as spares or repair). The company will accept no liability under this guarantee where engines fail as a result of criminal or malicious damage, fire or theft.

All claims under this warranty will be subject to a full investigation by our technicians. If it appears that the engine damage has occurred due to over heating or lack of lubrication , resulting from neglect or lack of reasonable care, or not following manufacturer guidelines, no reimbursement nor replacement will be made. If upon inspection the engine has been damaged by the malfunction of any components not supplied by the company, then it will not be covered by this agreement. All guarantees apply from the date of original purchase. In the event of any warranty claim, we ask you to produce receipts of all service work and parts fitted following installation of components that have been purchased from us.

Our warranty covers normal use and the warranty does not cover the engine/product for track or race use.

Call a member of our team and we will raise an RMA number (Returns Merchandise Authorisation) and email you a returns form.

We will give you your unique RMA (returns merchandise authorisation number) this needs to be written on the parcel.

Returns

Please note couriers require someone to be present to sign for all packages. If no one is available for the package, the courier will leave a card notifying you of the failed delivery attempt. If you receive a parcel with looks tampered with or damage on the parcel, please sign for as "damaged".
