    The Carbone Lorraine RC8 Compound Competition Brake Pads offer similar characteristics to the hugely popular RC6 compound but with a higher friction level. They feature a sintered metallic construction providing a consistent pedal feel from cold and maintained brake modulation.

    The RC8 compound was designed to be able to match to a wide range of applications with many popular models being catered for along with some less common vehicles. Able to be installed for many forms of motorsport events, the pads contain high and stable friction level (average friction coefficient 0.6) up to 1100 degrees Celsius, providing optimum brake pedal feel with brakes you are able to trust.

    Used in rally and circuit competition worldwide, the RC8 compound lends itself in particular to rallying and short circuit events (longer racing events are catered for with the RC6 Endurance compound) and can be used with other Carbone Lorraine brake pad compounds (in front or rear configurations) ideal for enabling the driver to gain their exact braking feel and requirements.

    The RC8 compound pads also provide increased disc life, as the pad material is not transferred to the disc as with traditional organic pad material constructions.
