SmoothBoost  -  Magnuson 2650 Electronic Bypass Actuator / Boost Controller

Our electronic bypass valve replaces traditional vacuum-controlled units with a sophisticated drive-by-wire actuator, offering a significant leap in precision and reliability. Unlike vacuum units that rely on engine-generated vacuum to operate, our drive-by-wire actuator is electronically controlled, allowing for instant and accurate adjustments 

Boost is referenced on 0-5v signal from the Throttle Position (TPS) instead of the conventional manifold vacuum (MAP). This broadens the boost curve making it more controllable with the throttle.

Increase in overall system efficiency, a properly functioning bypass valve helps maintain more stable and efficient operation of the supercharger. By avoiding conditions where the supercharger is forced to operate under strain, it can indirectly contribute to better thermal management of the intake air

You will not lose the INSTANT power you crave from your Positive Displacement Blower. Its always on tap.... just more manageable instead of all or nothing because it is now TPS controlled instead of  a simple vacuum signal


Boost can be controlled open (knob) or closed loop through a standalone ECU using a ( - ) PWM output just as you would a turbo wastegate  (Must purchase our SB-DCA module)
