The Mantus M1 Anchor is a great universal anchor built with performance in mind. The M1 Anchor rolls over and digs into soft, silty grassy bottoms and clay thanks to its roll bar. The M1 Anchor penetrates and sets unparalleled holding power. Tests show that Mantus anchors set faster and deeper than other anchors tested.

The M1 Mantus Anchor makes for easy storage if needed as the M1 is designed specifically for disassembly and stowage. Some owners simply keep the shipping box for onboard storage. No protruding anchor stocks or tips to damage other gear or toes!

Long-range cruisers, racers, or day trippers can use the Mantus M1 for their main anchor and store one or two as spares without taking up much needed boat space.

Built strong using high quality steel plate, no cast parts
Shank and shank boot are welded from top and bottom
Shank and roll bar are bolted to the fluke
ASTM certified steel bolts are oversized with a large margin to ensure safety
Shank is attached to the fluke with 4 bolts, each of which has sufficient strength to handle the maximum expected load on the anchor

We have over 15,000 boats within 20 miles of our store. Sailboats, powerboats, shrimp boats, oyster boats, commercial boats are all within our trade area. The Galveston Bay Area also has a large number of marine service businesses and boatyards to help the owners care for their boats. These boaters and marine tradesmen are the source of most of our inventory.

 

On our crew, we have a retired Coast Guard Licensed captain, one live aboard, a sailmaker with 35 years experience and one electronic service tech. Combined boating experience of over 100 years. One of us will probably know what you are talking about.

Shipping

We take pride in our Fair Price Shipping Program. We do not falsify shipping information to avoid or reduce buyer expenses on customs, tarrifs or duties. We only ship to your address of record with ebay and paypal. We mainly ship to North America but we are starting to put some items into the Global Shipping Program. We use recycled boxes and packing materials whenever possible to keep costs down. Your item will be shipped with insurance to protect you from any damages or loss of your item. You will receive a rebate whenever the actual shipping cost is less than the shipping you paid for. In most cases, your item will ship out within 1 business day of payment clearing. Shipping is via USPS or UPS as we believe they offer the best value. If you need faster shipping than listed, send us an eBay message for a quote.

Returns

We do offer a refund policy for customers who are unhappy with their purchase. If you decide to request a refund, you must request that refund within 30 days. If you request a refund during that period and the item is returned to us within 5 days and the item is in the same condition it was in when we shipped it out, we will issue a refund of the purchase price. We do not refund shipping in most circumstances. We do not pay for return shipping in most circumstances.
