Applicable to the 2004-2010 Mercedes Benz CLS model code W219 C219, including CLS350,CLS500,CLS550,CLS55,CLS63,AMG
Adjustable Rise range 0-50 mm
*Note: Vehicles with non air suspension or abc suspension cannot be used
Most car models are equipped with air suspension or ABC suspension, which relies on sensors to adjust the ride height. By replacing the fixed linkage with our adjustable design, you can make the computer think that the car is higher than the actual height, thereby Adjusting the vehicle height. Our settings maintain all the functions of the factory system, including the ABC Sport and ride height buttons.
Our links are fully plated to resist corrosion and come with rubber seals to protect the ball joints from dirt and road debris. They are also fully adjustable, allowing for any ride height desired and the ability to match left and right heights. Since no permanent modifications are required, the installation is fully reversible, making it easy to reinstall the factory links if needed for warranty work.
We are proud to offer you lowering kits only for name brand cars that are factory equipped with Airmatic or ABC. *Not available for coil suspension
Lowering Kits Thanks to our extensive knowledge and experience gained over the years, we know very well how pneumatic and hydraulic suspension systems work. and the excellence of our engineering teams. Got great feedback from customers who appreciate the value of high quality and great customer service.
The descent kit is constructed from high quality materials and includes features that make it the most versatile, easiest to install, safest and most advanced descent kit of its kind available today.
Each component is held to precise tolerances and produced by our manufacturing team to produce a feature rich, high quality, well designed and durable drop kit. A manufacturer that standardizes and uses the latest cutting-edge CNC technology.
Cars with air or hydraulic suspension have ride height sensors that are mounted on the chassis and connected to the suspension wishbones by linkages, and in most cases are located behind each wheel at the rear of the wheel arches.
The purpose of using these ride height sensors is to sense the height of the ground the car is driving on to help the car level itself
Our specially designed adjustable linkage replaces standard linkage OEM replacements, our linkage is fully adjustable so you can set your car to new heights to your liking. The information sent to the computer by the ride height sensor changes and makes it think it's sitting higher than it actually is. Due to this altered signal, the computer lowers the car
Suitable for high-end vehicles equipped with air suspension in the original factory. not suitable for steel springs
How low can my car go with linkage installed?
Our linkage is adjustable on the vehicle to lower your car as much as 0-70mm where feasible. Ride height can be adjusted without removing it. Our links are also made from billet aluminum, making them ideal for reliability and hard riding. Low, very low. However, if I'm going on a longer journey, I'll probably crank up the suspension for a smoother, softer ride, but if I decide to play around, I'll just select a Sport mode for improved handling. With the fully adjustable lowering kit, you can lower the car to the height that suits you. We recommend not lowering the vehicle so that the fenders are flush with the tires. If the vehicle feels "bouncy," or "warning lights," you're at the limit of your suspension's travel. Raise the vehicle until ride quality returns.
Do the suspension setting buttons in the car still work?
Yes, with the kit installed all raise and lower functions will still work, but the kit will keep the car in the new lowered position at all speeds until you ask it to raise.
Is it easy to install?
These kits are very easy to install with basic tools, no special tools or mechanical experience required, no wire harnesses to cut. Because our kits come with comprehensive installation instructions. This includes photos showing where the link needs to be installed. Tools required are vernier calipers, jack, axle stand, 9mm and 10mm wrenches, broadhead screwdriver and pliers. The installation time is about one hour. (on most cars you don't need to remove the wheel)
How will lowering my car affect ride quality?
The kit is fully adjustable, and the lower you set the suspension, the firmer and sportier the car will feel. Lets you find the perfect balance between ride height and ride comfort.
Do I need to check camber and alignment?
If any car is lowered, the camber and alignment should be checked. Camber increases as you lower your car, so your tires may wear a little on the inside if you don't adjust the camber. Our personal car doesn't have any camber modifications, as we're happy to sacrifice a little tire wear for the impressively sporty look that negative camber brings.
Will installing a drop link affect my safety?
This method of lowering the car is very well established and is a tried and tested method that has been installed on over 100,000 cars worldwide. These new adjustable drop links are CNC machined from billet aluminum and replace the factory fixed links. Each link is knurled for easy installation and easy adjustment. Each link has right-hand and left-hand threads for easy length adjustment during installation. Each linkage is supplied with a stainless steel nut and lock clip including strap seals to secure the ball stud to the ball joint. This is a safe and sure way to lower using air suspension.
Will installing a drop link void my manufacturer's warranty?
The installation of the drop links is fully reversible and will allow you to simply restore the vehicle to standard condition if there are concerns about the manufacturer's warranty, or if you wish to transfer them to a similar model car, or sell the car. Once the standard linkage is retrofitted to your car, no one will know you ever lowered the car. Since our links do not require any permanent modifications to the car, allowing owners to reinstall factory links at any time. This can be very helpful. There is no need to install complex and expensive electronic modules. Not replacing expensive springs and shock absorbers
