7.4L (454 ci) Marine Engine (1990 & Earlier)  Remanufactured


454ci marine engine (two piece rear main seal, oval port heads, flat tappet cam, mechanical fuel pump). This 7.4L (454ci) engine has been professionally remanufactured to meet or exceed GM OEM marine engine stock specifications. Rated at 310-340 hp at the crank (depending on intake, carburation, exhaust manifolds, etc). This 454ci engine will work in all pre-1990 454ci applications with no modifications. $700.00 core charge.

This 454ci marine engine comes equipped with the following:

  • 454ci (Mark 4) GM marine engine (standard rotation)
  • Corrosion resistant black urethane paint
  • Cylinder heads with heat crossover, engine block and all internal  components
  • Flat tappet cam
  •  Includes harmonic balancer, timing cover, circulation pump & complete gasket kit
  • ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
  • Will work in pre-1990 454ci applications with no modifications
  • Opposite rotation (RH) available for an additional $500
  • Oil pan not included

Some of the freight carriers we use are Fed Ex, R&L Freight, XPO Logistics, Estes Express, USF Holland, Forward Air, Old Dominion, Overnight Express, Watkins, and Dayton Freight. Engines can be picked up at local shipping terminals or dropped off at your location. **Engines are packed in specially designed crates made for that engine**

    All oil & lubricating fluids are drained before they are sent out (this is required by our freight carriers). All engines & parts are packed by our shipping department. Engines are then inspected by our shipping manager before they are loaded onto a freight carrier.
