1981 to 1984 1.6 L VW diesel N/A block dated 4 1984. Includes balance shaft and pulley and main caps and bolts ( not pictured) The pulley has a chip on the backside. Also does not include pulley bolt. I think it's on the original bore and needs to be bored out as cylinders have some scratches from cheap glow plugs exploding inside.
