All battery modules measure between 7.6 and 8.1 volts when shipped. They are deep cycled to optimize storage capacity and subjected to high current 75 amp  load testing. We only ship battery modules that pass our thorough testing procedures.

All modules are either 2nd generation (2004-2009), or 3rd generation (2010-2015) which are compatible with each other. The year of a donor vehicle is not a good indicator of battery module health as many 3rd generation modules do not test as well as 2nd generation modules. Mileage and operating environment are more important than age. Hot weather is the biggest enemy of hybrid batteries and since all of our batteries come from the cool northeastern US they will have the maximum remaining life possible.
