15" standard, 4 spline driveshaft

Off a 1983 Johnson 8 HP MODEL J8RCTA

In mechanically good working condition.  Shifts as it should, prop shaft and driveshafts turn smooth

Gearcase is in good solid condition.  No cracks, dents, or any forms of structural damage....skeg does have  slight curl, as photos show

Oil was drained before we got this motor so I do not know if there was water in it or if it was a little cloudy

I would suggest a new water pump before installing

Includes the prop that is shown in the photos.  It has edge wear to the blades, but still a good useable prop

Fits various 4, 6 & 8 HP motors from 1980 to 1991.....PLEASE REFERENCE part numbers and review all photos to make sure this will fit your motor
