Westerbeke W70 diesel engine 6500 hours - working great - no transmission as it was shot, there are however extra spares.  New (old stock) alternator, various filters new, as well as impellers and gasket kits... Instrument panel is included and works.  There is no shifter.

This engine was installed in a Lyman Morse 1986 custom sloop and very well maintained across the boats three owners.  I have owned this engine for 8 years - it has been largely problem free.  No smoke - no power issues.  Clean.  Three years ago there was an injection pump rebuild, two  or three years ago a new waterpump, a new Alternator six years ago, Oil changed every 50 hours.  Please see oil analysis too.  The engine is partially apart as it needed to be to be removed from the yacht.  It can be reassembled, but the yard and I both thought disassembled is better as you can see what is there.  Yard has also offered to reassemble and start/run  the engine with a serious buyer.   This is only available because they've installed a new Nanni engine in the boat as we're doing some extended cruising.  It was discussed the Hansen - rebuilding this - but because the sailboat will be in Europe and the engine is no longer manufactured - we figured for parts reasons - a French engine would be better.  Please contact me with questions.  This engine does not need to be rebuilt at this point - you can , or not - at your choice given that it is out.
