I apologize for the high cost of shipping.  It is what the Post Office charges me and in our location we don't have any other shipping choices.  Sad to say too is the fact that sometimes our Postal System seems to get rough on some items; so far I have had only one item (in 2 years) that didn’t arrive as shipped condition.  Please understand I will package your item as good as I can and by doing that sometimes it will cost me a little extra postage, but I can not be responsible for the abuse that the item may receive in shipping.  Please think about insurance and let me know, thank you.

 ******Sometimes I use boxes that have been used for something else shipped to me, if I do ship your item in a used/recycled box, it will be clean and your item protected against damage.
