It has a desiccant embedded in the silicone seal but rather than a silica desiccant, I have this one manufactured with a Molecular sieve. It's awesome and out preforms silica gel in environments of changing temps, like our RV windows. This is a permanent solution!

Foggy RV Windows
They look bad, and they're dangerous. It's almost impossible to see through a foggy window at night. They block your view to the mirrors, making it dangerous to change lanes. Everyone will tell you the only solution is to replace them. You'll have to go through the manufacturer to get the exact size and fit. If you're lucky, the window will only cost you $450 to $800, plus installation.
Some companies tell you to drill the glass top and bottom, inject a cleaner, then plug the holes with their 'Special' vent plug.
