ITEM NAME:  Seat Belt Strap with LARGE FEMALE Buckle End.  Cadillac's Deluxe buckle ends were not painted like other GM brands, but instead used traditional 1960's style brushed chrome & chrome plated ends at this point in time.  The strap lengths and mounting points among the other GM Divisions (Full Sized Models) were comparable though.  The Female Seat Belt Straps lengths varied somewhat between (roughly) the 1967-70 (Full Sized) models and the 1971-76 models, but they can interchange if the BUCKLE SIZE matches.  Check your current BUCKLE SIZE and LENGTH before purchasing this belt, to ensure that it is compatible.  These straps can also be used in other GM cars (mid size) that have the LARGE MALE BUCKLE counterpart. 

PRODUCTION DATE:   UNKNOWN - No tag.  Speculating 1969-73 based on the color being comparable for that era.

LENGTH:   See pictures for details.  Overall Belt Length (excluding metal ends) is appx 36.5 inches, and appx 39.5 inches overall.  I suggest that you compare lengths with your existing belt.  If your strap is significantly shorter then this isn't a good match.

CONDITION:  This is a GENUINE OEM 1970'S CADILLAC / GENERAL MOTORS Front Seat Belt Strap with LARGE Female Buckle End.  It's in EXCELLENT CONDITION.  The belt strap material is extremely clean, lacking in snags, wear, etc.  There is no color fade/loss, no tears, no fraying.  The belt material is very soft and very flexible.  The Belt Buckle is rust free, with a great original brushed finish shine.  Lock mechanism works fine.  Normal light wear and tear (a few faint light stain lines in the mid-belt, clean them out), surprising low for it's 55 year old age. This is a great Strap for your vintage Cadillac or GM car.  

Overall this item is a superb belt strap.  Overall I grade the item at a 9.00-9.50 on a 10 scale.  Set your expectations reasonably for USED parts that are 50+ YEARS OLD.
