Problem:

If you and your Lincoln(s) dread rainy days because it won't let you roll one or more of its windows or its tailgate up, or hot days because it won't let you roll them down, then most likely it isn't being disagreeable, it's telling you it is time to rebuild its power window motors. If you have more than one car that needs work that is listed below, mix and match with these universal rebuild kits which will work on any of the cars listed below.

Solution:

Don't throw away $100 buying a new motor. 99% of the time the power window motors fail due to deteriorating bushings. If you can hear the window motor turning but the windows don't move, or they move part of the way up or down, or have dead spots, this is probably your problem. The good news is you can very easily rebuild your own power window motors, using basic tools, with my rebuild kit, which includes 6 bushings (enough to rebuild both left and right motors--if one window motor failed, the other isn't far behind; be pro-active and rebuild them both or save the second set for when that other side fails) and step-by-step instructions, in about an hour. I have rebuilt many motors using this kit and you too can save mucho dinero with my kit.
