The dryer port gets the correct voltage (230VAC, no neutral)
The EV port light functions correctly and you can hear the switch click when the dryer clicks on
It shuts off the voltage to the EV receptacle when the dryer is on
BUT !!!!
The voltage delivered to the EV port is incorrect. I measure 120VAC between one leg and ground, but near 0VAC from the other leg to ground, and less than 20VAC (twenty volts) between the two hot legs (it should be about 230VAC)
It could be used to scavenge parts, or a skilled electrician may be able to diagnose the issue and repair it. I didn't open it up to see what it going on inside.
