An unattended trailer without a lock is like a car left with keys in the ignition; it's just too tempting for thieves to resist - even when empty. This unique coupler lock is effective, compact and simple to attach/remove. Unlike regular padlocks that leave most of the shackle pin exposed - where it's easy work for a pair of bolt cutters or crowbar - this lock is custom-designed for use on trailer couplers. The short 3/4" pin is virtually impossible to cut when installed and the extra-thick die-cast zinc body resists hammering and force. About half the size of a deck of cards, it's easy to store in glove box or console. Includes 2 uniquely-cut brass keys. Capacity: 3/4" maximum width, 9/16" throat. Total weight 5.7 oz.
